How To Change Temporary Files Location in Windows



How to change the location of your temporary files and folders in Windows 7, Windows 8 & 8.1, and Windows 10.
This will be useful if your C: drive is a smaller SSD that fills up quickly. Moving your temporary file storage to another hard drive allows more freedom for your apps to take up space and do what they need to do – this is important for programs like 7Zip and WinRAR.
